Scott A. Boug
Group Mentor & Chairman

Scott has over 25 years of insurance and reinsurance industry experience in Canada, United States, Europe and Bermuda. Prior to Secura, Scott was the CEO of Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda) Limited where he led the Company's overall business strategy to deliver consistent growth and profitability. He was also actively involved in product pricing, production, product design and regulatory relations, as well as overseeing offshore reinsurance, and maintaining all compliance aspects of the in-force reinsurance.

Before moving to Bermuda in 2017, Scott served as Chief Actuary for Global Bankers Insurance Group, headquartered in the US. He and his team were responsible for all actuarial functions for the insurance group, specifically M&A pricing, new business pricing and Enterprise Risk Management framework. Prior to Global Bankers, Scott held senior level positions as Head of Financial Solutions for SCOR Global Life Americas, Chief Risk Officer at Genworth Financial, life division, as well as other senior-level risk positions at Munich RE, and Aegon. Scott is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Canadian Institute of Actuaries, a CFA Charter holder as well as a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Scott holds a B.Sc. in Statistics from the University of Western Ontario.

Fatima Ahmed Rashid Qasimi
Executive Director & Advisory Committee Member

Fatima has over 23 years of experience in UAE's banking and financial sector. Formerly Group Head Financial Restructuring & Remedial at Emirates NBD. Her diverse career includes roles such as Head of Elite UAE at First Abu Dhabi Bank, CEO at Aseel Islamic Finance (a First Gulf Bank subsidiary), and Head of Corporate Banking in Dubai & Northern Emirates at First Gulf Bank.

At Aseel, she led significant growth, earning seven awards in the UAE and the Middle East. Fatima also Co-Founded startups like Wealth Link Solutions in recent times.

She holds an Executive Degree in Leadership from Cranfield University, an MBA in Financial Management from Southeastern University, and a BA in Business Administration from Strayer College. Fatima completed Islamic Finance courses and is a certified Corporate Banker from Moody's Analytics.

Actively involved in professional development, Fatima participated in a workshop on Arab Women Leaders in 2004 and is a member of the Dubai Businesswoman Council.

Sanjeev Chowdhury
Managing Director & Senior Executive Officer

Sanjeev has almost two decades of business development, marketing, sales and relationship management experience in financial services industry throughout Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent. Sanjeev served as Senior Vice President & Principal Representative for Middle East, Africa & India at Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda) Limited - DIFC where he was responsible for promoting, enhancing, and managing distribution relationships with regulated financial institutions across Middle East, Africa & India.

Earlier to that he was the Regional Vice President for Sun Life Financial Services (Bermuda) Limited based out of DIFC where his main focus was managing and growing business relationships with strategic partners across the region and implementing marketing strategies on behalf of the company. Prior to joining Sun Life, Sanjeev was Unit Head, Priority Banking for Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai. He has also worked for ABN AMRO Bank as Senior Relationship Manager for Van Gough Preferred Banking in Dubai where he was responsible for managing ultra-high net worth client relationships across U.A.E and India. Sanjeev was also based in Bahrain with Citibank in Global Consumer Bank division and in India with Standard Chartered Bank Priority Banking for various roles in wealth management business of the bank. He gained his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from St. Xavier's College, University of Calcutta and is also Masters in Marketing Management from Annamalai University, India.

Vimal Kumar
Director & Advisory Committee Member

Vimal is the President of Liveplex Inc, a Silicon Valley start-up in the Web 3.0 space delivering middleware infrastructure for companies looking to digitally transform to the Metaverse and Web 3.0. Prior to this he was the Chief Executive Officer for Airtel Money, a fintech operating in 14 countries in Africa delivering financial inclusion and promoting digital payments. Vimal was also the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Digital Officer of Retail and Business Banking for Africa Regional Operations at Barclays Plc/ABSA Africa covering 10 banks in 9 countries.

Vimal has more than 28 years' experience in running Retail and Business Banking and Fintech in Senior Leadership roles with leading financial institutions like Barclays Plc, Standard Chartered, ANZ Bank, ABN AMRO, Mashreq, ABSA, Airtel Money in Asia, Middle East and Africa.

He has a certification for the Non-Executive Director Diploma from the Financial Times- Pearson Level 7 Advanced Professional Diploma ensuring skills required to be an effective non-executive director. He is also a member of the Forbes Technology Council lending thought leadership in the space of emerging trends that are constantly challenging human thinking.

Vimal is a Non-Executive Director on the board of Airtel Mobile Commerce BV in Uganda, Zambia and Malawi.

He was also a past member of the CEMEA Advisory board of VISA and has served as an Advisor on the International Advisory Board of UnionPay and was also as a member of the APMEA Chip Sub Committee of MasterCard International. He speaks on Consumer Banking and Payment for global organisations such as the Lafferty Group, Fleming Group and European Financial Management & Marketing (EFMA).

Christopher Dungan
Advisory Committee Member

Christopher is the Regional Director - Middle East at Fiduchi, responsible for Fiduchi Limited (DMCC Branch), Fiduchi's representative office in Dubai. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry in the Middle East and Europe, having spent over a decade working with Standard Chartered Bank in both Dubai and Jersey. Christopher was focused on private client business in the Middle East, dealing with the investment and fiduciary requirements of ultra-high net worth clients across the GCC and Levant.

Since 2018, Christopher has been in charge of Fiduchi's Middle East business, having established the representative office in Dubai in 2019. Through his wide-ranging regional network, he has grown Fiduchi's client base in the region significantly and continues to do so. He is experienced in a broad spectrum of offshore trust and corporate services solutions, having dealt with financial services businesses - such as Secura International - public and privately owned corporates, government related entities, as well as high net worth families and asset managers.

Christopher attended university in the United States and France, earning a BA in history and a Diploma in political science. He is a Chartered Member (MCSI) of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and a qualified Trust & Estate Practitioner (TEP) of STEP.

Terry Northcott
Advisory Committee Member

Terry is an Executive Director of Fiduchi Trustees Limited, which is the named Trustee for Secura's Global Advantage Plus Master Trust. Terry has overall responsibility for Fiduchi's Corporate Services Team, which is the team that services most of Fiduchi's clients' investment funds and savings plan schemes. Terry has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years; beginning his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers ("PWC") before moving to one of Jersey's largest independent trust companies and then to Fiduchi.

Terry has been with Fiduchi since early 2014 and has been instrumental in the growth of their corporate and real-estate businesses; using his expertise in the full breadth of trust and corporate structures available in Jersey and internationally to expand the suite of solutions available to Fiduchi's clients. Terry has managed several significant real estate investment structures investing in regions all across the globe and is currently the lead director on a number of substantial UK commercial real estate structures as well as structures investing in projects in various countries.

Terry is a highly experienced trustee who has spent many years providing trusteeship and administration services to a broad cross-section of clients; from multinational and FTSE-listed companies and SOEs, to small private companies and families, as well as large-scale savings plans and investment trusts such as the Global Advantage Plus Master Trust. Terry is a chartered company secretary and a chartered corporate governance professional; holding qualifications from both the Chartered Governance Institute of UK and Ireland and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

George Mac Allister
Advisory Committee Member

George has more than 40 years of experience in financial services as an advisor, a top wholesaler and currently shares his experiences and strategies as a speaker and trainer. In this current role, George has worked in 41 states in the United States as well as 8 different countries. Prior to this, he has worked with many of the world's leading financial companies and insurance companies. George was the Senior Director, Sales Development for Sun Life Financial Distributors, Inc. where he was charged with bringing leading edge coaching strategies to wholesalers and the advisor community. He joined Sun Life after leading the Strategic Partner Enterprise Sales Development team for Lincoln Financial Distributors where he delivered inspirational messages to over fifty thousand financial services professionals.

Earlier in his career, George was an accomplished wholesaler for AIG Sun America and was named The Top Wholesaler of the Year for several years. George is a Certified Corporate Speaker, a member of the National Speakers Association and was member of the Strategic Coach Program for over ten years. He is a graduate of both The Merrill Lynch School of Risk Management and Quincy College in Massachusetts, US.

Neelam Verma
Advisory Committee Member

Neelam, CEO and Co-Founder of Wealth Link Solutions, directs partnerships, asset management, succession & legacy planning, wealth management, financing solutions, and business expansion, with a focus on capital management. Formerly VP and Head of Investments at Continental Group International, her expertise spans Investments, Private Banking, and Real Estate Finance.

Neelam holds an MBA in Finance from New Hampshire University, with certifications from Harvard Business School and the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Recognized as a Certified Wealth Manager by the American Academy of Financial Management and an International Certified Wealth Manager by CISI UK, she has completed advanced courses from SCA, Bombay Stock Exchange, and National Stock Exchange.

With a distinguished career including roles at Citibank, HDFC Bank, and leading UAE institutions, Neelam is a respected speaker on Capital Markets and Women Empowerment in Finance. Committed to diversity and inclusion, she balances her professional life with family time, travel, and hobbies in music, dance, and culinary arts.
